The development of the inflatable church came in the early 1990’s and was the last project I ran before selling Boing Creative Solutions (an MBO).  The idea of the exercise was to prove the versatility of inflatable design and show that substantial and serious buildings could be produced so that the church could go to the people! Not being of religious persuasion and noting my preference for going down the pub, I moved on!

The church is complete with pews, lectern and beautifully painted windows. The internal architecture reflecting traditional church building design and complete with flying buttresses! Although copyrighted and protected this was soon copied with all sorts of stories as to its originality, what a compliment!!!!!
